Script approval

What is a script approval?

Script approval is a key approval point where you go through the script and ensure that it says what you want it to say.

When you get the script right, everything else flows from that.

When proofing, please read the script out aloud as it’s in spoken not written English.

Any small changes needed are then done with the Producer, so you arrive at the final script for approval.

This is the script that will be recorded by the voiceover artist.

If you need to change the script later in the production, after it’s been recorded, there may be a cost for this.

THIS IS THE FIRST OF THE 5 KEY APPROVALS
Note: We don’t do the script and storyboard at the same time. These are totally separate approvals. Message and visuals are kept separate. The script is the engine of the video.
ACTION: Read script aloud, itemise any small changes, discuss with Producer for implementation, approve final script
